Grizzly Bear Hunt

Grizzly season in our area runs from August 1st till May 31st. And into June, in surrounding areas.

Our fall hunts will start on August 1st and will be 10 day hunts.

FALL HUNT SCHEDULE
August 1st – 10th
August 10th – 20th
August 20th – 30th

You will fly into Saint Michael, than boat up to our camp at Klikitarik. From that point we will either hunt along the coast or travel back to the Golsovia river to look for bears. Once at camp our main transportation will be Argo’s.

We can accommodate up to 3 hunters per 10 day hunts. And non-hunting companions will have a companion fee of $4,500 for the hunt.

If the hunter tags out his target animal there will be no daily fees to pursue an additional animal. But if an additional animal is harvested, then a trophy fee is due before departing.

Moose hunts begin September 1st, but we can still accommodate bear hunts at this time as well.

TRAVEL VIA ARGO’S

All our hunting is fair chase, we use the Argo’s to travel to different hunting areas. But once game is spotted, it is spot and stalk from that point on. We also have a few good bow stand locations along the river for anyone wishing to hunt Grizzly with a bow.

WARM & COZY

When we leave the main camp, we will set up a spike camp in the area we plan to hunt in. Our spike tents consist of an arctic oven tent, with cots and a wood stove if needed. They are a very warm and durable tent. And they are quick to set up and take down. If we need to relocate to find game, it’s an easy take down camp to move to a different spot.

TIME TO FISH

We will have 1 or 2 break down fishing poles, so when the situation allows, we can try and catch some salmon or arctic char for dinner. And if you tag out early you will be able to fish for Silvers, Pinks and Char down at the mouth of the river.

TROPHY PREP

We will prep your trophy so that you can bring it all the way home with you or if you wish to use an expediter, we can get that info for you as well.

Relax & Unwind at Camp

Once back at main camp, you will be able to kick back and relax. We have a traditional style steam bath where you can take a nice hot sauna and then finish it off with a hot shower. Kick back on the deck and glass for wildlife if you wish.
